Our inner kid was brought out!!!!

Sorry everyone.  I haven't posted the last few days.  We are in Midland at my nephews birthday party.  He just turned 2.  His party was at a gymnastics place and I think I had more fun than the kids did.  I don't know if ya'll know this, but I did gymnastics for 10 years when I was little.  After flipping for a while I decided that I am not as young as I used to be.  When we first got there I went to the trampolines to find my wife back there jumping.  She was trying to find her inner kid just as much as I was.  She told me to come jump on a certain trampoline becasue it had a lot of bounce.  So we moved the mat that was on it off and I began to jump.  I was getting some mad air when I landed and my foot went through the trampoline.  Oh man did it hurt my ankle.  I then realized why that mat was on that trampoline and not on any of the other ones.  We quickly covered it back up and acted like nothing happened.  Oops!!!!  2 hours of jumping, flipping, diving for footballs, and swinging on the uneven bars made for an amazing time.  D'Lyliah and Jazz are in gymnastics at home so they new what they were doing.  They had so much fun.  Jazz didn't have a nap before the party and her attitude was great the whole time.  That never happens.  If she doesn't get her nap out she is a terror.  D'Lyliah just learned her front flip and she was showing off to everyone.  It was amazing.  As soon as we got in the car D'Lyliah and Jazz opened their candy that they had gotten from the party.  D'Lyliah went straight for the pixie stick and Jazz went for the chocolate.  Poor Jazz fell asleep when we pulled out of the parking lot holding her chocolate in her hand.  Mandy decided that it was going to make a mess so she saved the chocolate.  She looked at it and decided that the best place for it was in her belly.  Ok everyone, I have talked long enough for now.  I will write again later so please come on back.  Until then, May God bless everyone and try not to blow away.

What a day

Well today started at 3:00am.  Jazz decided to get up and come in our bed.  We fell asleep without turning the TV off.  We woke up to jazz sitting up in our bed watching George Lopez.  I couldn't tell you how long she was there.  I knew she wasn't going to go back to sleep without assistants so I had to rock her back to sleep.  Then all of the girls we awake and ready for the day at 6:30am.  So we got up and D'Lyliah went to her school and Jazz went to hers.  So it was just me and little Karsyn.  She was so good today.  Such a trooper.  We went to see my grandmother and all of her alzheimers friends.  They loved karsyn and Karsyn loved the attention.  We picked Jazz up from school and then got D'lyliah.  We got cable in her room so that they can watch Dora and when she was watching it she came to me and said, "where is the pause button on this remote?"  DVR is a necessity at my house, but not in her room.  I checked my email tonight to find out that the course I have been taking online since october is not counting.  They said that I didn't do an assignment so I am going to have to take the class over and pay them money.  So now I am going to have to spend tomorrow on the phone getting that worked out.  Now I am about to do more laundry and do something easy for supper.

Todays world

As of today D'Lyliah is 5, Jazmyn is 2, and Karsyn is 7 months.  D'Lyliah is in Kindergarten.  She is learning so much.  Jazmyn goes to parents day out 2 days a week and is learning new words every day.  Karsyn is with me 24/7.  She is not crawling but she is rolling all over the place.  She doesn't really care for baby food to much.  She wants what we are eating.  I will post daily post about what is going on with our Circus.  So check back for funny stories and follow along as my children grow up.

In The Beginning

Ok everyone, we are finally in the Blog world.  Here is a little bit about our family and where we are today.  My wife and I got married 6 1/2 years ago.  She was in nursing school and I worked at Cox Cable. She graduated a year later and I decided to go back to school.  I got my degree in HDFS.  I taught for a year and then got a job in the IT department at a bank.  We decided to get our foster parenting license so that we could get our oldest beautiful daughter.  Her name is D'Lyliah.  We got her in November of 2008.  She was 3 then.  In april of 2009 we got a call about fostering another beautiful girl named Jazmyn.  She was 10 months at this time.  On December 14th I came home from work thinking I that all of our christmas presents would be wrapped and there was only one done.  My wife Mandy told me that I had to open that one.  She had wrapped a burp rag and what I though was a highlighter.  Come to find out it was the evidence of out little Karsyn.  She was born on July 21, 2010.  One week late we were able to officially adopt D'Lyliah and Jazmyn.  This is the start of Circus O'Lee.  In the middle of September Mandy went back to work and I have been given the honor to stay at home with the girls.  This has been the hardest but most rewarding job I have ever had.  In October I decided to take online classes and get my teaching certificate.  So needless to say my life is a circus.  To add a little to my life my family decided to move my grandmother to a nursing home about 10 minutes from house.  She has Alzheimer's and I am pretty much her care taker at this point.  I love it though.  It is so good to be able to care for her and see her on a daily basis.  This is the history of my family.
